Job Opening: Research Analyst -- Systemic Risks of Climate Change

ASRA is seeking a Research Analyst to support a major project examining the systemic risks of climate change, with a particular focus on the scientific, environmental, and Earth system implications of exceeding the Paris Agreement’s 1.5°C temperature goal.

The Research Analyst will undertake in-depth research into the consequences of climate change and related systemic risks, drawing on peer-reviewed literature, expert insights, and primary research including stakeholder interviews and surveys. The role involves recording and cataloguing research data, supporting the design and delivery of workshops and stakeholder engagements, and producing clear, robustly evidenced outputs to communicate findings to diverse expert and non-expert audiences.

This position requires a highly motivated, flexible, and imaginative researcher with strong systems thinking capability, experience in climate and Earth system science, and the ability to work with diverse stakeholders across government, corporate, and community contexts.
